The three-wheel Kabinenroller was a cross between a small car and a scooter. And it found a ready market among motorcycle and scooter riders who were tired of braving bad weather and switching from riding clothes into more suitable attire and vice-versa when going to and from work. Just 111 inches long, this vehicle was known for its near perfect road manners and unusually narrow width, which enabled it to get in and out of tight spots with ease. The KR200 model was the first to feature reverse gears and a larger engine that delivered one more horsepower than its predecessor. The Kabinenroller 200's new refinements met with a very enthusiastic response; introductory sales of the Kabinenroller 200 set a sales record that was never broken. |
